Obituary of Morgan T. Ridington

Morgan Thomas Ridington, Sr., 91 of Melfa, VA.  He passed away on Tuesday June 4, 2019.  He was born in Conshohocken, Pa, the fourth child of Lawrence and Claudia Ridington.  He was a graduate of the class of 1946 from Conshohocken High School.  In 1949 he was married to Marie Florence Hall, also of Conshohocken.

Following military service in the World War II and Korean War, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1952 and was awraded the World War II Victory Medal.  He began his employment with the Lee Tire and Rubber Company, after which Mr. Ridington was invited to join a new venture, A-S-H Molded Products, in Malvern, Pennsylvania.  He spent the balance of his professional career at A-S-H, retiring from the postion of company President.  Afterward he retired to the Eastern Shore of Virginia where he enjoyed golf, fishing, and social activities while still engaging in a consultancy with the Baker-Hughes Corporation.

Mr. Ridington leaves his daughter, Lori: a son Tom and his wife Meridith.  He also leaves four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his wife, Marie, in 2009.

Funeral Service will be private in Forest Hills Cemetery.  A rememberence open house will be held at a date yet to be determined in July, 2019 at St. George's Episcopal Church, Pungoteague, Virginia.
