Obituary of Catherine I. White

Catherine I. White, age 91, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

She was born in Clearfield, PA on January 2, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Koresko) Spitko.

Catherine was raised in Bridgeport, PA and has been living in Conshohocken since 1956.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Fairview Village, PA.  She enjoyed gardening, watching birds, and playing the organ.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

She was the wife of the late Edward Stott Lobb and the late Herbert J. White.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jesse) Whitson; sister, Julia Spitko; sister in-law, Barbara Spitko; grandson, John (Rachael) Whitson; two granddaughters, Dawn (Sean) Callahan and Jessica (Ron) Detwiler; and four great, grandchildren Cooper, Kylee, Bradley and Brett.  She is also survived by Herb's two children, Herb White Jr. (Weimiao Ou) and Mary Ellen (Anthony) Mitchell.

Along with her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Spitko and Ronald (and his wife Kathleen) Spitko.   

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
