Carl was one of the most positive guys I've ever known. Always made me feel good when we spoke or texted, which wasn't often enough. I remember staying with Aunt Ann and Uncle John when my Mom was sick. Carl would sneak up on me in bed and make spooky noises and scare me I was like 5 or 6. My Dad used to take my brother Art and I to see him play ball and umpire. He was just a great guy. My heart goes out to all of his family in this difficult time. Rob Rost

I feel blessed to have known Carl. He saved my kids by fixing terrible issues on their houses. He drove back and forth to OCNJ to “rescue my house from the renovators.” He was a loyal friend; I loved him through good times and bad. I will remember all the fun times at the casino, hanging out with Janet “JC” and Bob. Everyone loved him…everyone. He always asked about my kids and grandkids. Cindy and Carl were the best couple. They represented the meaning of “family.” He loved his family and friends beyond measure. I cry over his loss to all who knew him. I simply can’t believe it. My son-in-law was so inspired with Carl’s work ethic and style that he started his own business. Know that we all loved him, Cindy. I can’t imagine the void you feel. My heart hurts for every member of Carl's family and his many devoted friends. My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to everyone. I had the honor, privilege and joy to know him only for the last several months, but the moment I met him, his warmth as a person, his wonderful personality, and his giving and unselfish heart shined so bright! He will live on in all of our memories.

Carl’s premature passing will be, for me, very difficult to deal with. I considered Carl a very good friend. We spent many Winters together in Florida & subsequently created many wonderful memories. Volleyball, Stickball, Coffee time at the diner, annual dinner dances, & even some time at Long Beach Island are just some of the fond memories I will reflect on when thinking of Carl. I will miss him very much. Rest In Peace my Brother. Heartfelt condolences to his wife Cindy & the rest of his family.

Carl was a funny man. I met him 12 years ago at Lowes he would come in two or three times a day and was always smiling and making jokes. I had the honor to see him for the last time a month ago after not seeing him for almost 2years! I’m glad I got to give him a hug and say “see you later”. Rest peacefully Carl
