Obituary of Carolann R. Winslow
WINSLOW, Carolann Rose
Age 86, of Collegeville, PA, formerly of Centerville, OH. She was born Sept. 4, 1937 in Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond J. and Sophie Squire. Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Leon E. Winslow and her sister, Joanna Squire, Stevens Point, WI.; also survived by children Daniel E. (Susan), Merritt Island, FL; Rebecca R., Sharonville, OH; Laura V. (Joseph Webster), Collegeville, PA; Juliet J., Sharonville, OH; Lawrence J., Phoenix, AZ; Walter A. (Amy), Timnath, CO.
She had 14 grandchildren: Jennifer (Hogan) Garrison and their two children Riley and Mason, Allison Fifer (Guanlun He), Scott Lawson; Benjamin, Edward and Monica Rose Webster; William and Jonathan Winslow, Fox William and Laura Tuttle, and Sophia Winslow; Kai, Jasmine and Vaughn Winslow.
Carol graduated from St. Mary’s Academy, Milwaukee, WI in 1955 and valued lifetime friendships from SMA; earned a BS in 1959 in mathematics and physics from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI and an MBA in 1983 from the University of Dayton, Dayton, OH. She worked at Reynolds & Reynolds Co.1998 – 2005. Carol was a lifetime member of the League of Women Voters and served as President of LWVGDA 1991-1995 – leading the 75th year anniversary highlighted by the appearance of the Hon. Barbara Jordan. She also was a lifetime reader in several book groups. Carol was a 44 year member of the Christian Forum and lector at St. Francis of Assissi Church, Centerville, OH. She spent her final years living with her daughter Laura in Collegeville, PA, enjoying Ladies Lunch with neighborhood friends. She raised six beautiful successful children and valued her family above all.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday October 5th at St. Eleanor Church, Collegeville, PA. The family will be available for visitors at 10:30.

Burial will be in Dayton, OH at Calvary Cemetery on Saturday October 7th at 11 am and Dayton area friends are welcome to attend.
