Having taught next to Carl during the HS construction years, I learned what a great teacher he was. He was funny, demanding, and compassionate in his expectations for his students. He created a really good learning environment, teaching useable skills. I remember the cool gum ball machine that he had his students make. I’m sure students still use it. One of my favorite photos was when we chaperoned the senior trip at Great Adventure. Carl joined in and had just as much fun as the students.
He will be surely missed.

Coach Santoro was my OLine coach in high school and I loved playing for him. Since graduation, every time I happened to bump into him I was always greeted with a smile. I will always be grateful for the time he gave to me and all the other players and students at Methacton.

I am so sorry for your devastating loss and extend my condolences and sympathy to all of you. May God keep you on the palms of His hands during this difficult time and always.
Carl was kind, caring and a truly great guy who touched the lives of so many and was always there to help everyone. He had a winning personality and a contagious smile. He was also quite the entertainer who told the funniest stories especially in the faculty room and at faculty parties. Some of my memories of Carl make me laugh out loud. I will certainly never forget his “you women” speeches specifically designed to get the female faculty members to react. He truly is a legend. Carl may be gone but will never be forgotten by all whose lives he has touched in such a positive way. I know that Carl has reaped the rewards of a wonderful life lived and he is Resting in Eternal Peace with the other Angels and all of his loved ones who have gone before him.

I'll remember Carl for the laughter in the faculty room.
He had some very bizarre (and fictitious) ways to train football players. This will be my contribution to Carl's remembrance. When you remember him, remember the humor and smile.
