So very sorry to see that Monica passed away at such a young age. I knew her well as a student at Villanova University. We were both Mechanical Engineering students, class of 1980. She studied Mathematics in her Freshman year and switched to Engineering in her Sophomore year. We worked together with another student on our senior design project. She was very smart and quite feisty at times. I got a chance to visit with her parents in Chevy Chase. Many memories of her.
