We Burpee’s were so blessed to have had known Father Bernie (whom was simply ‘Bernie’ to us). Bernie was Atlee’s (our brother’s) priest, his rector at Calvary Church, and Atlee’s very dear friend to our brother, before Atlee passed recently. He was a friend to Atlee’s wife, his 2 daughter’s and son, and Atlee’s 5 siblings as well. Bernie lived his life as a devoted priest, actively loving God’s own through his works. I am so grateful to have known him.

Bernie meant so much to my family in the past. He baptized myself and my siblings, married my husband and I in 2017, and my dad worked as junior warden at Calvary in conshohocken with him as the priest for many many years. I know my dads friendship with bernie over the years meant a lot. He will always be remembered by all in our family.
