Obituary of Maureen E. Ryan

Maureen E. Ryan, age 60, of Pottstown, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 11, 1963, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Walsh.

Maureen has been living in Pottstown since 2014, formerly of Skippack, PA where she raised her family.  She was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School where she played French Horn in the Marching Band.  She was an active parent booster for the Perkiomen Valley High School Marching Band while her children were involved.  Maureen had a career as an Operating Room Nurse at many local hospitals, most recently Pottstown Memorial Hospital.   

She is survived by her fiance, Ricardo Pimentel; daughter, Megan (& Benjamin) Civiletti; son, John "Jack" Ryan; four siblings, Bill (& Susanne) Walsh, Beth Ann (& Brett) Reed, Patricia (the late Thomas) Garguilo and Tom Walsh.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Her Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.  

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, Maureen's family would appreciate memorial contributions made in her name to a charity of your choice which benefits cancer research.
