Obituary of Joyce R. Donovan

Joyce R. (Chendorain) Donovan, 82, of West Norriton, PA passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.

She was born in Norristown, PA on August 6, 1940, the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Mary (O'Connell) Chendorain. Joyce has lived most of her life in Conshohocken, PA. She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church. She was a Homemaker. She was an avid bingo player and loved spending time at the casino.

She was the wife of the late - Robert P. Donovan, Sr.

Survivors include, Daughter Dawn Williams, Daughter Joanne (& Tom) Popowicz, Daughter Barbara (& Ken) Shainline, Son Robert Donovan, Jr., Daughter Joyclynn (& Tom) Reynolds, and her Brothers Alfred Chendorain, Fred Chendorain, Barry Chendorain, Sisters Marlee Rentkawitz, Carol Coulston, Kathryn Wegner, her Grandchildren Steven, Robert, Nicholas, Kristina, Earl, Allison, Victoria, Thomas, Jr., Abigael, and her Great Grandchildren Myles, Bryce, Juliette, Oliver, Lexi, Nolan, Violet, Harry, Eli, and Amalia,  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by sisters Bertha Hernandez and Gail Chendorain and brothers William Chendorain, James Chendorain and Joseph Chendorain, and Great Granddaughter, Ellie.

Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Entombment will take place in St. Matthew's Mausoleum, Conshohocken, PA.  

In lieu of flowers Joyce would prefer you take your loved ones out to dinner.
