- Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for you. Our loving Creator knows how hard this is on you, losing a loved one. We are told at Ezekiel 18:32 “I do not take any pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord.” As you can see, He does not like death any more than we do. It is not his will for us to die which is why He has given us the hope of everlasting life! (Rev 21:3,4). As the God and Father of tender mercies, He wants you to find comfort in Him through prayer. You have been a shining light in my life. We cried many times together in happy times when you grandchildren were born and in very sad times when we lost the ones we loved. Through those times we held strong in public, but in private we cried until there were no more tears left. Now Jesus needed another angel so he has called you home. When you are reunited with Pop, Buzz, Tom and Jan, give them all our love. May you rest in peace Nanny we will surely miss you.
