Obituary of John R. Morton

John R. Morton, age 58, of Schwenksville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

He was born in Meadowbrook, PA on June 4, 1964, theson of Mildred Mae (Whinney) and the late John F. Morton.

John was living in Warrington, PA when he graduated from Central Bucks West and Middle Bucks Vo-Tech in 1982. He moved to Schwenksville in 1987, when he married Patricia, and started growing their family, a proud girl dad. He worked as a maintenance technician for Silver Springs-Martin Luther School and knew how to fix just about everything. John loved riding his motorcycle and sharing the road with the Philadelphia Motorcycle Riders Group and long rides with his daughters on the back to get Rita's. He enjoyed going out to breakfast on the weekends, exploring yard sales and finding a good bargain. John always had some sweets or a joke ready to share, and was especially connected with animals.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Tecie" Morton (nee Maher);

five daughters, Katie Morton, Meghan Morton, Erin (and her husband Alan) Zollars, Colleen Morton, and Devon Morton;

mother, Millie (and her husband Jerry) Doyle;

sister, Janet (and her husband Mark) Townsend;

and brother, Mark (and his wife Lisa) Morton.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 24 at 12 PM at St. Mary's RC Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Church.
