Obituary of Helen V. Candello

Helen V. "Sis" (Ferraro) Candello passed away peacefully on May 20, 2016 with her family by her side after suffering a long illness. She was 84. She was the loving wife of 46 years to the late Carmen C. Candello, Jr. Born in Bridgeport, Pa on February 6, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Mary (Roberto) Ferraro. A lifelong Bridgeport resident , she was a 1950 graduate of the former Bridgeport High School, and she was a life member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Bridgeport. She is retired from Sharp Corporation in Plymouth Meeting and previously worked at National Liberty in Malvern as an Office Supervisor. She was a loving and caring mother and Mom Mom. She enjoyed spending time with time her family, especially her grandson Jordan, who was the joy of her life. Helen is survived by her daughter Jacqueline A. (Shawn) Courtney, her son Carmen D. Candello, sister Anna Mae (Frank) Coleman, sister in-law Eleanor (John) Angelucci and grandson Shawn Jordan Courtney. Helen was preceded in death by her dear sister Marie T. Ferraro. A Funeral Mass for Helen will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Sacred Heart Parish Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, Pa 19405. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
