Charles was a fixture at youth sporting events. One moment I will not forget is Charles singing the National Anthem to open a Little League Baseball game, in a magnificent voice. May God comfort and bless the Mascio family.

Chuck will surely be missed at the Fellowship Hall Donofrio Classic. He sat at the scorer’s table and commanded the microphone. He was a legend at that tournament. May Chuck Rest In Peace. May God bless his family.

Charles would always lighten up the whole section of Spring Mill Avenue when he stepped outdoors and smiled! He shared himself happily and openly with me and my wife Wendy who had passed away several years ago.
But I’ll never forget his boisterous laugh and the look in his eye when he realized that he had made someone feel good about themselves and the whole Conshohocken community.
We will miss you from two houses down from the old Mascio household and the rest of Montgomery County.
Michael J Contos, along with son Nicholas and grandkids now holding down the fort at 320 Spring Mill Ave.

I will never be able to listen to "Puff the Magic Dragon" without thinking of my Uncle Charlie. It was a song he sang to us as kids. When he met my boys it was a song he sang for them as well.
"Oh, Puff the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee
Puff the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee
A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant's rings make way for other toys
One gray night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff, that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar"
Uncle Charlie you will be missed.

Chaz was a good friend and reliable coworker who never hesitated to help me locate all those elusive curb boxes. I will miss our heated political debates. He truly was the best Santa Claus to ever come out of the third-floor window of the mansion. To this day I still wear the Conshohocken Little League shirt he gave me. Rest in peace my friend.

We used to joke that Charles wasn't afraid of anything... except for Peter Pan's Flight at Walt Disney World. I will never forget him trying to jump off the ride in mid "flight," while my mom tried to hold him in. He will be missed.

To the Mascio Family, words cannot express how much Charles will be missed! he was a great man a great friend and funny as hell! i have a lot of great memories mostly funny and mostly about family and raising our children. There is no replacing a person of this magnitude. Always there for the kids, always involved with the community, and always there for anyone! A tremendous family man! Just an all out great person. May God bless him and all of you! his memory will live on for along time to come.
With a very heavy heart, Frank A. Amabile Sr.

I lived with Uncle Charlie and my dad for a few months at the Meadows and I had so much fun. I definitely annoyed him by eating all his Tasty Cakes and drinking his sodas, but he never complained to me! I loved coming home and hearing him singing Christmas music in October, or seeing his constant Christmas countdown on Facebook. He always was able to put a smile on my dad and I’s face when we were angry or annoyed. And him and I always had fun teasing my dad together (lovingly of course). Uncle Charlie was also usually the taste tester of all the food I made in the house and never complained- even when I know some of the dishes I made were quite questionable/ he would eat them with no complaints. I had a lot of fun those couple of months we all were house mates, and I’m really glad I did. I’ll miss you Uncle Chuck, but I know I’ll see you someday! Until then I’ll be ridiculously extra with my Christmas spirit, and will always make sure to keep some extra Tasty Cakes handy at all times.
Love you lots, Grace:)

Charles surely was one of a kind. Him and I enjoyed long conversations about the Phillies! He always greeted me with a “hey Rico!”…a nickname he gave me growing up during one of many CYO games at the FEL (because I was probably one of the few fans of Rico Brogna, who played with the Phillies in the late 90’s). No matter the sport, he was always there at the FEL, greeting me, and anybody else that walked through the doors with a friendly smile. Charles will be missed by everyone in the community! I will miss seeing his daily countdown to Christmas (even though I’ve thought “geez…it’s only February!”), but what I’ll miss the most is his “hey, Rico!” greeting.

There are people who leave an impression on your life and you did on mine. What great memories we had on Spring Mill Ave, I’ll never forget when you jumped in the car with my mom and I to take me to basketball camp in the Poconos like you had to check it out to make sure I was safe. How you sat on our porch with my grandmom like she was yours and just chilled with her like she was your grandmom too! I’ll miss you old friend and I’m sorry we never got that cigar. Look out for Mommy Sang so y’all can catch up like old times in the neighborhood! You were more than a friend but my Spring Mill Ave brother! Love you much and I’m not sure you’ll not let many people Rest In Peace up there! Just be you! Jolly dude that everyone loved!
May God give your family peace because they lost a great one!
