John W. Bartholomeo, 92, of West Chester, PA passed away on Tuesday March 1, 2016 . He was born in Norristown, PA on March 22, 1923. John has been living in West Chester for the last 3 years, formerly of Norristown, Pa where he lived most of his life. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Norristown, Pa. He was a veteran of World War II served in the US Navy. He worked with PECO with gas utilization department. John was known as Mr. Fix it and he could fix anything. He was the son of Filippo & Laura ( DiBonaventura ) DiBartolomeo Beloved husband of the Late - Anna J. ( Kulkusky) Bartholomeo John is survived by Daughter: Anna Bartholomeo Winter Park FL Son: John T. (& Annmarie) Bartholomeo Media PA Son: Philip (& Rebecca) Bartholomeo Exton PA Also survived by 4 Grandchildren Andrew, Daria, Brian & Natalie And 2 Great Grandchildren Brynn & Calla Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Lena Monaghan, Mary Denner, & Elizabeth Leflar. His Funeral Mass will be held on Monda, March 7, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the St. Francis Of Assisi RC Church, Marshall St. At Buttonwood Street, Norristown, Pa 19401 Clergy: Fr. Gus Puleo will be officiating. Friends may call on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Church Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Francis Of Assisi RC Church, 600 Hamilton Street, Norristown, Pa 19401.
