Dorothy T. Grochowski  

Dorothy T. (Godek) Grochowski, 95, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 23, 1925, the daughter of the late John and the late Sophia (Pichla) Godek.

Dorothy has been living in Lafayette Hill for over 20 years, formerly of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.

Although she could be regarded as a Homemaker, Dorothy was a caregiver to her disabled son Michael his entire life.  She possessed a beautiful sense of humor and shared her wisdom freely with those around her.   Dorothy was an avid reader as well as a talented artist. 

She was the wife of late Michael F. Grochowski.  Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Michael F. Grochowski, Jr., and her son-in-law, Joseph Cave.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette A. Mastroieni-Cave of Lafayette Hill, PA, her grandson Michael (& Tara) Mastroieni of Conshohocken, PA and her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Luke.  

Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM from St. Philip Neri RC Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.

Friends may call on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the church. 

Interment will take place in Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38104.
