Obituary of Regina Leah Matheson

Regina (Jean) Matheson, age 84, a longtime resident of East Norriton, passed away on September 25, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Claude S. Albright and Mary ( Burke ) Albright.

She was married to her husband Philip C. Matheson for 43 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 3 children, son Donald K. Cannon (Susan), daughter Kathleen A. (Stephen Henry) and son Shaun P. Cannon; as well as seven grandchildren, Erin, Sean, Kerry, Deana, Devin, Jacob and Keelin.

Mrs. Matheson was born in Norristown and spent most of her life in the area and often wintered in Florida.

She attended St. Francis of Assisi School in Norristown and Norristown High School.

She worked in the accounting department of the Times Herald, then as the Assistant Childrens Librarian at the Wolfson Memorial Library in King of Prussia. The following 20 years she worked as the office manager of Controls Displays Incorporated in Colmar, PA.

Mrs. Matheson loved traveling with her husband. They took many crusies together. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved working in her gardens.

The Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10:30 AM in St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA 19401.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, October 16 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church.
