My Condolences and Prayers to Your Family I am a Former Temple U Student, and was in the Performance Jazz Ensemble. Of course Donna Jean Cocchia was my Teacher and Coach. I have looked for her online, just to see what she was up to and to Thank her for making me Believe in Me and my ability to Sing. Just to talk and laugh. She always kept class and rehearsal FUN and Exciting. I was A Star to her. A Great Comforter, Motivator, Teacher and Singer. Her words risignate in my ears every Audition. "YOU GOT IT" My Condolences and Heart felt Prayers . I Pray that You all are well and know that She is and will always be with You. My Girl, will always be in my Heart and Ears

Jeanine - My sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. After reading her obituary, I feel that I missed out on meeting such an incredible and amazing woman. Her passion and commitment to education and social justice made my heart leap! The beauty of her though is that she passed that compassion down to you. So although I was unable to know her, I am blessed to experience her passion through you. I know that you will miss her dearly and remember that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed." Psalm 34:18. Donna was my first love and mother of our children... The Mommas and the Poppa's song 'California Dreamming' was our song...We had big dreams, too... Our Hopes and Dreams are manifested in the three awesome children, and two granddaughters, by whom God blessed us. Donna was a strong spirit and endowed with a great musical talent of song. My heart and love go out to my children and to the Cocchia family. God rest her soul and grant her eternal peace...
