With great sorrow Rosemary and I offer our condolences to the Marcil family for the passing of our very good friend Ray.
In the mid 80’s I was on a field trouble shooting trip to an IBM facility in Fishkill NY and at my company’s equipment installation site I was surprised to meet Ray a neighbor from a back home adjacent neighborhood. Ray was the Computer Control System engineer bringing on line a new group of semiconductor processing furnaces. We commiserated about “its a small world” and have been friends ever since. We have had many interesting and thoughtful conversations and discussions on common and simple things along with some esoteric topics. I was impressed with Ray’s managing the Catholic Services Food Pantry at St Paul Catholic church for many years.
In 2011 I joined the Greater Plymouth Comunity Center Bocce (GPCC) league and convinced Ray to also join. We never made it to playoffs but we enjoyed the game.
I have been lucky to have had Ray as a friend and will miss him and his wit.

My big brother, Ray, was the sibling with whom I lived the longest, 13 years. Following his graduation from Providence College in 1959, he moved first to New Jersey and soon to Pennsylvania. He was a good son, brother, and family man with high principles. He lived by them as best he could because he was a man of faith. He loved his family, including a large extended family. I have many warm memories that include lots of laughter, good conversation, and thoughtful gestures. I will always miss him, but I am grateful he is at peace with our two older brothers Dick and Henry (Fr. George), and his two brothers-in-law Roger and Dick. I'm sure there were many others in the welcoming home party. Peace, my brother!

It is with great sorrow that Celeste and I would like to express our deepest condolences to Aunt Eleanor and the entire Marcil, Brislin, Biggs & Regnier families on the passing of Uncle Ray, my godfather. Perhaps my best memories were the fun times at Me-mere and Pe-pere Marcil's house on Orne St during the holidays with Uncle Ray along with Ray and Arthur Bussiere who, between the three of them, would have of all in stitches with their quick wit. I know my dad is welcoming Uncle Ray with open arms. Rest in peace Uncle Ray.
