Obituary of Anne E. Wichterman

Anne E. Wichterman, age 73, of Ambler, PA, formerly of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at her daughter's home.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 14, 1947, the daughter of the late Bertrum and Betty Lou (Rice) Berry. Anne graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 1965 and Penn State University in 1969.

Anne has been living in the Lower Gwynedd area for 40 years. She was a member of the Church of the Messiah, Gwynedd. She had a long career as a Math and Computer Science Teacher at Gwynedd Mercy Academy. After her retirement, Anne worked as a Substitute Teacher for Wissahickon High School. She was an avid tennis player. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Luciano) Patruno of Conshohocken; son, Christian (Amy) Wichterman of Garnet Valley; and five grandchildren, Edward & Annie Patruno, and Jacob, Norah & William Wichterman.

Along with her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Berry.

Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside service on Monday, August 3 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Messiah Cemetery, 1001 Dekalb Pike, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002.
