Linda M. Burak, 65, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020.

She was born in Ft. Dix, Texas on October 14, 1954, to her loving parents, John and Mary (Fasy) Flanagan of Naples, FL.

She is survived by her Parents, Son Michael (& Jenny) Burak of West Palm Beach, FL, Daughter Laura (& Jeff) McGovern of Newtown, PA, Daughter Jenna (& David) Malone Plymouth Meeting, PA, Sister, Susan (& John) Patten of Lafayette Hill, PA, Sister, Eileen Flanagan of Philadelphia, PA, and Brother John Flanagan (& Alice Fox) of Havertown, PA. She was preceded in death by her Sister Kelly Greenleaf. “Grammy” as she became known, is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, with number nine expected in May.

Linda received her RN from The Medical College of Pennsylvania and later went on to receive her bachelors from The University of Saint Francis, while raising her three children. She later obtained Masters Degrees in both Health Administration and Nursing. She was an extremely compassionate nurse and spent the bulk of her career at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She retired in 2019 after managing the Labor & Delivery, Neonatal, and Maternity Units where she served selflessly and was much loved.

Linda was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend.  Her silent strength and devotion to others will forever impact the lives of everyone she knew. She loved having big family dinners and watching the Eagles play on quiet Sunday afternoons. She enjoyed running, reading, walking at Valley Green, gardening, cuddling with her grandchildren, and visiting her parents at the beach. Her loving and calming presence will be sorely missed.

Her Private Family Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Philip Neri RC Church, 437 Ridge PikeLafayette HillPA.  Due to the current gathering restrictions, the mass will be livestreamed at the link here .
