Frank J. Pfanders, Sr.  

 

Frank J. Pfanders, Sr., 91, passed away at Southeastern Veterans' Center-DMVA, Spring City, PA on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
 
Frank was born in Norristown, Pa on March 3, 1929, the son of the late Frank and the late Louise (Pachella) Pfanders. He was the husband of the lateMargaret V. ( Strycharz ) Pfanders.
 
Frank had been living in Douglassville, and formerly of King of Prussia where he lived for over 58 years, and he grew up in Lafayette Hill and Conshohocken.
Frank served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of Spring Mill Baptist Church.  Frank worked as a salesman with Lance, Inc.
 
Frank was active as a coach in the Upper Merion Township Little League program. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, as well as all of his children's and grandchildren's sports teams and activities. He enjoyed traveling and dancing, particularly with his wife at local church festivals, the TK Club, and doing country line and ballroom dancing at Sunnybrook. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and actively supported his children, grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
 
Survivors include, son Paul (& Catherine) Pfanders of Collegeville, Pa, daughter Diane Pfanders of Sanatoga, Pa., son Frank ( & Holly) Pfanders of Parkesburg, Pa., son Alan (& Rocio Luquero) Pfanders of Seattle, WA., daughter Margaret (& Brad) Ray Lower Pottsgrove, Pa, son David (& Reannet Lacson) Pfanders of Lancaster, Pa; also survived by his  grandchildren Laura Bennett, Elise Freed, Ryan Pfanders & Diego Pfanders; and his great grandchildren Joseph Bennett and Michael Bennett.
 
Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by siblings Mary, Tony, Philip, George, Robert & Jim.
 
His Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
