I just happened to see this today when some of my cousins and I were discussing an old family photograph. My grandfather (the first Bill Whiteside; I'm the 3rd) worked at Quaker Chemical, and I believe Letty was his secretary for a number of years. I remember Letty being part of the family, often joining us all at my grandparents' home in Lafayette Hill. Letty was in the picture that my cousins and I were talking about. On that day - probably in the late 70s - she drove up to NYC with one of my aunts & her kids (my cousins) for a different aunt's wedding. I'm sorry that we lost touch with Letty. I remember her as a gentle soul with a great sense of humor. It was great to be reminded of her humor and her feistiness in this tribute. Bill Whiteside Lancaster, PA

Letty and I worked together at Quaker Chemical for 20 years. She was a dear friend and over the years we kept in touch with each other. My heart goes out to her nieces Linda and Leslie, and other family members who took good care of her. She loved her family and spoke of them often. Letty is resting in peace. I’ll miss her very much.
