Obituary of Margaret Theresa Smith

Margaret (Peggy) Theresa Smith (nee Marconi), 74 of Douglassville, formerly of Collegeville- Trappe and Norristown, passed away suddenly at home on February 29, 2020. She was the loving wife of Mathieu R. Smith.

Peggy was a 1963 graduate of Norristown Area High School.

Peggy lived life to the fullest. She had an adventurous spirit and was passionate about travel. She was always the life of the party with her fun personality and infectious smile. She cherished her family and was a fierce defender of them. She was an avid crafter and took so much joy from creating all the details for their wedding. She loved having lunches and teas with special friends.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her daughter, Kyle (David) McGowan, step- daughter Kelly Smith, step-son Kevin (Megan) Smith, brother Thomas (Donna) Marconi, sister Nancy Marconi, grandchildren Daniel McGowan, Katelyn Leets, Brenden Leets, Addison Smith, Tyler Smith, Riley Smith, many loved nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  

Interment will be private and at a later date.
