William F. McCarrick, Sr.  

William F. McCarrick, Sr., 86, of King of Prussia, Pa passed away Friday, January 17, 2020. 

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on September 28, 1933, the son of the late John  F. and the late Anna ( Darby ) McCarrick.

William has been living in King of Prussia for the last 6 months, after moving from Bethlehem, Pa, Saylorsburg, Pa and East Norriton, Pa where he raised his family.

He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and received Honorable Discharge on August 13, 1961.  During his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal.

While living in Saylorsburg he was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church, and in his earlier years he was a very active member of Visitation B. V. M. RC Church. 

He was employed a crane mechanic and operator for McCarrick Brothers, Inc. and he was a member of Local 542 Operating Engineers.

He was the husband of Dolores I. ( Segletes ) McCarrick, for over 63 years.

Survivors include Wife Dolores McCarrick of King of Prussia, Son William F. McCarrick, Jr. (and Ellie Nichols) of Audubon, Son Terence (& Carolyn) McCarrick of Worcester, Daughter Carolyn ( & James) Valerio of King of Prussia, also survived by his grandchildren Terence, Jr., Alycia & Brianna.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings John "Jack" McCarrick, Anna Nancy Konowal, Catherine Ryan, Mary Whalen and Thomas McCarrick.

His Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Friends may call on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at funeral home.
