Obituary of Georgianna C. Byrnes

Georgianna C. Byrnes, 72, of West Chester, PA passed away on Tuesday January 5, 2016. She was born in Camden, NJ on December 23, 1943. Georgiana has been living in West Chester for the last two years formerly of the Pottstown/ Gilbertsville area, and Norristown, where she grew up and lived most of her life. She was the mother of six children. In her earlier years she worked at Vernon Graphics Company; also as a Norristown School Crossing Guard, and later worked at Genuardi's Super Markets, as well as at The Pottstown Mailroom and Check Cashing Company. Most of the work that Georgine did throughout her life centered around customer service, as she was very people oriented and had a great sense of humor. Georgianna enjoyed doing ceramics in her earlier years, she was an avid James Patterson reader, and could always be counted on for a good conversation and a laugh over a cup of coffee. She also had 19 other Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren, all of whom she dearly loved. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews and her former husband Joseph Byrnes of Norristown PA. Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. Clergy: Pastor Dave Shalaway officiating. Friends may call on Monday Morning from 10:00 AM to 11: 00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private in Riverside Cemetery.
