May Merciful God Welcome Him in His Kingdom and may Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him. I will light candle in John's memory and say a prayer at St. Stanislaus Church tonight, asking Blessed Mary for intersession for John and all family members that pass before Him, and to console those who mourn giving them hope that we will be reunited in eternity.

Good man. Great fun cousin-in-law to visit in No Tonawanda when we were mere toddlers. Always a smile. In later years, great quips -- a facile mind. Warm. Genuine. Quick wit. Kind. Caring of all. And always so bloody good looking! A sharp memory of John is on his back lawn way back in Joliet days as we all stood there and watched Sputnik pass over in the clear sky --- the beginning of the Space race! Miss him............

I was one of John’s nurses during his final days at the hospital. I didn’t get a chance to know him before he got very sick, but I could tell he was a sweet man who was loved so dearly. The devotion and heartache of his lovely wife Pat was something I’ll always remember. His wife, daughter and son were so kind and so wonderful with nursing staff. John would occasionally open his eyes, and his family would huddle close to him and say how much they loved him over and over again. After John passed, Pat approached me in the hall and thanked me for all the care his nurses gave him, and I was touched by how she could even think about thanking us when she was so immersed in grief. I am so very so sorry for your loss!!

Im so very sorry for your loss. But may the words of Jesus Christ be able to help ease the pain of losing John in death. How? By having a little Faith and trusting in the words found in Gods word the Bible and esp from what Jesus Christ is saying in John 5:28,29 about a time when he will resurrect ones like John back to life and then he will be able to live forever on this earth, as the Bible promises us all in Psalm 37:29 which says: The righteous will posses the earth and they will live forever on it. So may these words and so many others from the Bible which can instill on your hearts the truthfulness of its message from Jehovah God our Creator and His Son, Jesus Christ which will undo all the sufferings that we experience now, but will be erased and replaced with a life with no end. It is so hard to fathom the reality that you are no longer physically with us. We will always cherish the memories of our times together with John and Pat and family. The good times we had together at your lovely place in Florida like: playing Euchre , golfing, enjoying meals and family time. Also treasure our memories of visits you made back to N. Tonawanda over the past few years, especially your visit in Sept., 2018 to help us celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. Love the photo of the group from that event.
