Obituary of Karen M. Stone

Karen M. Stone, age 55, of Worcester, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

She was born in Washington, DC on April 24, 1964, daughter of John and Peggy (Heaton) Kuntz.

Karen lived in Blue Bell and King of Prussia before moving to Worcester where she has lived for the past 30 years. She was the Chief Operating Officer for TriTech Applied Sciences, Inc.  Karen earned her bachelors of science in Accounting from Penn State University (CPA) and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law.  She was exceptionally hard working and intelligent, always willing to help her family and friends who asked her for advice.  Karen was extremely determined, excelled at everything that she did, and worked tirelessly alongside her dedicated work family.  When she wasn't hard at work, Karen enjoyed cooking for family and friends, golfing at Manufacturer's Golf and Country Club in Oreland, PA and Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers, FL. Her greatest joy was spending time with her puppies and family, whom she loved very much.

Karen was the beloved wife of Scott Stone, her high school sweetheart with whom she shared 38 years together and 30 years of marriage.

Along with her husband, Karen is survived by her two daughters, Katherine Stone of Eagleville, PA and Courtney ( & Justin) Kanamine of Broomfield, CO;

son, Scott Stone of Dumfries, VA;

parents, John and Peggy Kuntz;

sisters-in-law, Kathleen ( & Randy) Younker and Marianne Keats;

brother-in-law, David ( & Lisa) Stone;
