Dad, I have so many memories with you! My childhood memories include being with you on grandma‘s front porch in Michigan, in the heat of the summer when the others went to visit some other family or friends. I remember loving Sunday football, not because I liked football back then, but because I could cuddle up with you on the couch and take a nap! I remember you taking us on hikes along the old railroad track. We each had a stick to fight off the snakes if we ever saw one. I remember you carrying me all the time after I stepped on the nail and then, when all the chickenpox went on that one little tender foot. I remember when you would take me to Temple and we would get up early and you loved to eat your donuts! Neither of us liked waking up that early! I remember how all of the animals loved you so much even the little guinea pig Chuckey, that used to squeal when you came home. You would come in the house with your booming voice and say “I’m home”and everybody would get so excited. I remember you supporting me always, and always being there. You came to visit me in Hawaii, England and Scotland, and even Africa! That was a big trip for you to make in your 70s! I remember most of all, your love, generosity, acceptance, and calmness. We didn’t have to talk. We could just hang out, take naps and be with each other! I know that a scratch on your back or your head was my way to show that I loved you! Of course Mom was always there too! You two are two peas in a pod! You were the best husband and father and I appreciate all of your love, guidance, morality, and faithfulness. Thank you for being with us for as long as you possibly could. I love you Daddy!

Mrs. Storrs and Family
Saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Storrs. I always remember the times when you both would come to Jackson for a visit and Mom & Dad were so excited to be able to spend time with such great friends. Also the times spent in Panama City Beach with Mom & Dad were always cherished by them.
Please know that all of you will be kept in my thoughts and prayers. May the Angels Welcome Him to Paradise!

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. While I never knew Jack, I have known his daughter Kathy for over 35 years and he raised an exceptional daughter. It is heartbreaking to lose someone so loved. My prayers are with all of you.

There is so much sorrow in the world. But the death of our loved ones brings the deepest sorrow of all. Please accept my condolences.
May God’s promise to help you through this difficult time bring you peace (Isaiah 41:10) and his promise for the future (John 5:28, 29) give you a wonderful hope.

Reading Mr. Storrs’ tribute reminded me of how accomplished he was, and how committed he was to his family and faith. He walked the walk. But it was his unmistakable, hearty laugh that I remember the most. Peace and prayers to the Storrs and their families as they get through the difficult days ahead.

Kath, so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember he and your mom " making cameo appearances" at many of your parties in Lansdale. My mom passed away last month as well.. It feels like an ending of an era! Prayers for you and your family.
