Karen was a sweet young girl of 14 when I met her. She grew into a lovely, talented and wonderful young woman with a heart bigger than she was. She will be missed. My deepest sympathies to her husband Doug, her son Greg and his family, and her loving sister Janet. May she Rest In Peace. Love, Aunt Eileen

To Doug and Family, It was with great sadness that I learned of Karen’s passing. Though it has been many, many years since our days at Methacton, I still remember her friendly personality, keen mind, and magically beautiful voice. I send you my prayers and condolences knowing we were all better for experiencing her. May Karen Rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to you, Doug, and to all those who loved her. Karen was someone I know I would’ve liked to know better. We had similar interests and I know how much she loved her family!
Rest In Peace now. I’ll be thinking about you and know that you’ll be watching GH with me in spirit!

Growing up in the Air Force, our family moved every couple of years, Meeting Karen let me know what true friendship is- for life, forever, and wherever you are. And through her I made other life-long friends. Thank you Karen. And thank you Doug for being the kind of friend and husband who welcomed all of us girls and later women with fondness, humor, and concern.

I was very happy to consider Karen my third sister as she lived with us for a while. One of the best memories was the triple graduation party that we had at my parents house when Karen graduated from Ursinus, my brother Mike graduated from high school and I graduated from grade school. Due to the other two parties, my classmates and I had access to beer and other liquors to make my graduation party one to remember!

From the minute we met back at Ursinus there was a connection -- Karen was one of my favorite people in the world. She was thoughtful, intelligent and tons of fun. I will truly miss her!
