Obituary of Francis Van Buskirk, Jr.

Francis Van Buskirk, Jr., age 61, of Conshohocken, passed away on  Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his home.  

 

He was born in NorristownPA on November 3, 1957the son of Rita (Denno) and the late Francis Van Buskirk, Sr.

 

Frank was a lifelong Conshohocken resident and a member of the former Ss. Cosmas & Damian RC Church.  He was also a member of the TK Club.  Frank enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at his trailer in the Poconos as well as fishing and hunting.  He was a Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Frank's greatest joy was being Poppy to his four beloved grandchildren.  

 

Frank honorably served in the United States Air Force.  

 

Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Joanne (Magliente) Van Buskirk of Conshohocken;

mother, Rita Van Buskirk of Conshohocken,

son, Sean ( & Natalie) Van Buskirk of Essex, MD;

daughter, Maria ( & Tony) Sweeney of The Woodlands TX;

sisters, Charlotte ( & Louis) Marinari of Conshohocken and Lisa Ann ( & Christopher) Weigett of East Stroudsburg PA;

four grandchildren, Connor Francis, Cooper Joseph, Jackson Casey and Scarlett Grace;

as well as five nieces and two nephews                      

 

His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:30 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428.  

 

There will be a viewing for family and friends on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
