Obituary of John J. Angelucci

John J. Angelucci of Norristown, PA returned to His heavenly father on October 8, 2018. He passed in the home of his eldest son, John II, surrounded by family in Worcester Twp.

He was the husband of Eleanor ( Candello ) Angelucci. They were blessed with sixty years of marriage together and shared many happy memories. Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ella ( Altieri ) Angelucci. He attended Norristown High School and Villanova University. He was employed by Verizon Telecommunications as an electrical engineer, project manager and a teacher at Dobbs Vocational School.

John was a founding member of Saint Titus church. He was a member of The Pioneers of Fiber optics, Sons of Italy, and an army veteran of the Korean War. Throughout his life, he had a passionate dedication to Catholic charities and organizations. He enjoyed going to church, taking long walks, and spending time with his family and their German Shepards. He was a life-long Philadelphia sports fan and loved nothing more than seeing the Eagles and his alma mater, Villanova, win. He will be remembered for his compassion, patience, and overarching love for his family.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his two sons, John II, wife Susan Gilmore, Michael, wife Victoria Epifanio and his two grandchildren, John III and Christina Angelucci, children of John II.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Angelucci.

A Funeral Mass for John will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 9:30 AM from Holy Saviour Catholic Church, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401.

Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401 and Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:20 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
