Obituary of Gloria N. Rudolph

Gloria N. Rudolph, age 87 of Norristown, died Friday, September 13, 2013 in Gwynedd Square Nursing Center of Gwynedd Valley. Wife of the late Alfred J. Rudolph. Born in Lancaster, PA on September 24, 1925, daughter of the late Gertrude K. (McDougal) and William J. Nichols. Gloria has lived in Norristown, Pa for over 52 years, formerly of North Wales & Wayne. She was a 1944 Graduate of Radnor High School of Wayne. She was a member of St. Paul's RC Church of Norristown, and worked with Strawbridge & Clothier of Plymouth Meeting. Gloria enjoyed dancing at The Camelot, loved cruises, and going to Ocean City. She played field hockey & basketball in High School. She sang in the Strawbridge & Clothier Choir. She loved music and had season tickets to Peter Nero Concerts, and she enjoyed going to the theater and movies. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (& Don) Federlein of Port Hueneme, CA and Pamela Fuller of Blue Bell; sons, Richard (& Bonnie) Rudolph of Colorado Springs, CO, and Charles (& Jackie) Rudolph of Norristown. Also Survived By 6 Grandchildren Valerie & Greg Fuller, Steven Mattson, Douglas Rudolph, Tina Rahatt, & Sam DeVinney & Great Grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a Daughter Glorianne Geiger, & Son Michael J. Rudolph. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the St. Paul RC Church, 2007 New Hope, Norristown. Clergy: Fr. Harry E. McCreedy officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:50 A.M. at the Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
