Obituary of Robert D. Reese

Robert D. Reese, 84, of East Norriton, PA, passed away on August 14, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Norristown, on June 28, 1929, Robert was raised in Jeffersonville and has lived in East Norriton for the past 56 years. Prior to being self employed, he worked as a machinist for the former George Salter Machine Shop of Eagleville. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Fairview Village. He was a volunteer Fireman for the Jeffersonville Fire Company for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, bowling and traveling. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce A. (Moore) and his parents, Ellis and Anna Mae (Reeme) Reese. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, George Reese and Ellis Reese, Jr., and his two sisters, Thelma Reese and Eleanor Reese. He is survived by his sons Robert (& Val) Reese of Boyertown, PA and Scott (& Lisa) Reese of Honesdale, PA; his daughter Joy MacCarty of East Norriton, PA; grandchildren Bobby, Jake, Torre, Trina and Tyler; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Services and Interment will be private. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 12 noon at the home of his daughter, Joy MacCarty.
