Obituary of Janet M. Mulligan

Janet M. (Port) Mulligan of West Norriton Township, passed away peacefully at home Monday, May 20, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Zummo and the late Leo Mulligan. A daughter of the late Albert C. and Lillie (Cantwell) Port. She was born in Salisbury, MD on July 27, 1930. She has lived in West Norriton for the past seven years and previously resided in Norristown for 50 years. She was raised in Conshohocken where she attended local schools. She was employed with James Biddle Company of Blue Bell for 19 years retiring in 1994. She was a past member of St. Paul's RC Church of East Norriton. She had a great love of astrology. Janet enjoyed collecting sea shells, going to the casinos and doing cross word puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with her family gardening and especially spending time with her family. Janet is survived by her children, Christine (Daniel) Prinzivalli, Joseph (Paula)Zummo, Rita (Greg) Robinson, Leo Mulligan, Jerry Mulligan, Kathleen (William) Lee; sisters, Sara Adamowicz and Carolyn Lindsey; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Albert C. Port, Jr. The funeral service for Janet will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton. Friends may call Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton.
