Obituary of George Robert Tompkins

G. Robert Tompkins, 76, of Eagleville, PA passed away on Monday August 13, 2018. He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on July 5, 1942. Bob has lived in Eagleville, PA for the last 15 years, formerly of Conshohocken, PA. He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, PA. Mr. Tompkins was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked with Fleming Foods as a Warehouseman. Son of the late Charles W. & Martha V. (Minnis) Tompkins. Survivors include his Wife: Lois (Thorpe) Tompkins Eagleville PA Son: Robert (& Tina) Tompkins Gilbert AZ Daughter: Darlene (& Mike Gleason) Colletti Eagleville PA Daughter: Leann (& John) Gebhart King Of Prussia PA Daughter: Monica Jenkinson Eagleville PA He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Tompkins. His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew's RC Church Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Fr. J. Thomas Heron will be officiating. Friends may call on Thursday Morning from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Matthew's Church Restoration Fund, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
