Obituary of Russell E. Rosenberger

Russell E. Rosenberger, age 88 of Plymouth Meeting, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in Einstein Montgomery Hospital of East Norriton. Husband of Elaine (Dunn) Rosenberger.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 7, 1924, son of the late Evelyn (Minter) and Edward P. Rosenberger.

Russell has lived in Plymouth Meeting since 1947. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa Raised on a farm in Doylestown, Pa.

Graduate of Norristown High School Class of 1942.

Veteran of World War II he served in the US Army where he received The Army Occupation Japan Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with One Bronze Star, & World War II Victory Ribbon.

He was a member of Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, where he served as President of the Board as well as he sang with the choir.

He is a retired Vice President & Branch Manager with Corestates Bank. Former Member and Past President of Conshohocken Plymouth Whitemarsh Rotary Club. Past President of American Institute of Banking Philadelphia Chapter and also a Former Member of the National American Institute of Banking.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Russell E. (Susan) Rosenberger, Jr. of Lagrange, IL. Also survived by his Grandchildren James Klopp, Stephen (& Lori) Klopp, Abigail Hibbitts, & Justin Rosenberger and three great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Klopp.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Clergy: The Rev. Robert A. Brown officiating.

Friends may call Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
