Obituary of Antoinettte E. Pumilia

Antoinette “Nan” (Warburton) Pumilia died on June 9, 2018 at Reading Hospital.  Mrs. Pumilia had lived in the Collegeville area for many years before residing at Keystone Villa at Douglassville for the last several years.  Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jennie (Morrione) Warburton.  Mrs. Pumilia was 86.

Mrs. Pumilia was a graduate of Norristown High School.  During her working life she was a waitress at several area restaurants.  She served as a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed reading and searching for old glass bottles at garage sales and flea markets.  She was also an avid collector of recipes.  Cape May was her favorite destination when she went to the Jersey Shore.  She was a long time member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church in Collegeville.

Mrs. Pumilia was the widow of William Pumilia.  She is survived by her children:  Stephen of Punta Gorda, FL; William “Woody” (Carol) of Gilbertsville; Audrey Stephey (Joseph) of Collegeville; Christopher (Mary Ann) of Pennsburg; Janette Pumilia of Royersford; and Michelle Major of Gilbertsville.  Also surviving are her brother, Frank H. Warburton (Juanita) of Fl; her sister, Virginia “Ginny” Tornetta of Norristown; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, Saturday, June 16, 11 AM at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 6th Ave and Locust St., Collegeville.  Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 10:45 AM at the church.   Interment will be private at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
