Obituary of Bertha A. Vernon

Bertha Vernon, 98, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She was born in West Conshohocken, PA on July 21, 1919, a daughter of the late Hugh and Mary (Rigg) Adams. Prior to moving to Greenfield at Perkiomen 3 years ago, Bertha was a life-long resident of West Conshohocken, PA. She loved spending time with her family and going to the beach. Bertha was the beloved wife of the late George W. Vernon. Survivors include her son, Glenn ( & Missy) Vernon of Limerick, PA; two granddaughters, Meghan ( & Patrick) Mozi of Limerick, PA and Jennifer ( & Kristofer) Trauger of North Coventry, PA; four great grandchildren, Alyssa Mozi, Hailey Mozi, Molly Trauger & Maryn Trauger; as well as nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Agnes Gehman and Verna Wesley; and brother, Paul Adams. Her Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
