Obituary of Mary J. Chmelko

Mary J. ( Manning ) Chmelko, 89,  of Norristown,  PA  passed away on Wednesday May 9, 2018.  She was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 9, 1928

Mary has been living at Regina Nursing Center since 2009,  and was formerly of the Olney section of Philadelphia.  She was a homemaker who also worked with Sears on the Boulevard in Philadelphia, Pa.  She was an avid reader, especially Agatha Christie novels.  Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and was referred to affectionately as Gram.

Beloved wife of the late Milan Chmelko

Survivors include her                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Son: John Chmelko, Plano TX;

Son: Francis Chmelko, Conshohocken PA;

Son: David Chmelko, Conshohocken PA ;

Also survived by 4 Grandchildren:  Ty, Rachel, Emily, & Christopher.            

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 2 sons, William & Timothy Chmelko, and 3 sisters Helen "Nellie" Gallagher, Kathryn "Kay" Leonard, & Patricia “Pat” Breen.          

Her Memorial Mass will be held on Monday May 14, 2018 at 10:30 A M at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic church located at 219 Fayette Street , Conshohocken PA 19428.  Fr. J. Thomas Heron officiating.

Friends may call on Monday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church

Interment will be private.
