Obituary of Edward A. Linkiewicz

Edward A. Linkiewicz, a long-time resident of Blue Bell, PA, passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Son of the late Edward and Lottie (Czisik) Linkiewicz, Edward was born on January 27, 1936 in Lehighton, PA, and grew up in Nanticoke, PA. Edward was the husband of the late Marilyn (Borman) Linkiewicz, to whom he was married for 54 years. He was an Honorary Alumni of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a graduate of Temple University. Edward was retired from Lockheed Martin (formerly General Electric) in King of Prussia, where he was a manager of the M&DS database group. He is survived by daughter Jennifer (Gary) Hitchner, son Michael (Fay) Linkiewicz, daughter Judy (Keith) Winship, and grandchildren Andrew, Samuel, Kelsie, Silas, Brianne, James, Lissy, and Jenny.

A Funeral Service for Edward will be held Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, Pa 19426. Reverend Paul Foster, Chaplain with Normandy Farms Estates will be officiating. Interment will take place in Augustus Lutheran Church Cemetery, Trappe, PA. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
