Obituary of James C. Knoeller

James C. Knoeller, 90, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Friday June 16, 2017 at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center, in East Norriton, PA,.with his family by his side. A lifelong Conshocken area resident, James was the loving husband of the late Virginia M. (Noblit) Knoeller A son of the late Fred and Sarah (Shambough) Knoeller, he was born in Conshohocken, PA on August 16, 1926. James was a self-employed Businessman. He was the co-owner of the Conshohocken Esso Service Center in the 1950's – 1968. He was the owner of the former Plymouth Hardware and hme Decorating Company in 1970 to mid 1980's. In his younger years, he worked at Knoller's Garage before beinf drafted into the service. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army, serving from 1944-1946. He served in the Liberation of the Philippines and the occupation of Japan. He enjoyed traveling; he toured the 48 continuous states. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, folk art, oil painting, cabinet making and furniture design and cooking.. He was a member of the Fritz Lodge 308, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Conshohocken VFW Post 1074, American Legion State Lodge. Survivors include his Daughter: Beverlee Stemple Conshohocken PA One Son Granddaughter: Beverlee (Russell) Bellinghieri Grand Son: Richard (Bee) Stemple Grandaughter Great Grandchildren: Lauren, Matthew, Michael, James & Richard Brother: Bob (Nona) Knoeller Brother: Doug (Carol) Knoeller Brother: Larry (Joan) Knoeller Sister: Gloria Constanza Sister In Law: Janet Knoeller He was predeceased by his siblings Fred, Lou & Bill Knoeller &, Phobe Foke A Funeral Service will be held for James on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
