Jack was a graduate of Conshohocken High School,
He served in the US Navy during World War II,He worked as an Electrician for over 40 years with Weyerhaeuser/Simpson Paper Company, in Miquon, Pa until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His all time favorite were trips to the Jersey Shore.

John S. "Jack" Waszena, 89, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Sunday May 7, 2017.
He was born in Conshohocken, PA on August 16, 1927.
Jack was a graduate of Conshohocken High School.
He served in the US Navy during World War II, where he received the World War II Victory Medal.
He worked as an Electrician for over 40 years with Weyerhaeuser/Simpson Paper Company, in Miquon, PA until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, PA.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His all-time favorite was trips to the Jersey Shore.
Son of the late John & Stella (Rakowski) Waszena.
Survivors include his
Wife: Margaret "Peg" (Bradley) Waszena Conshohocken PA
Son: John (& Mary ) Waszena Conshohocken PA
Son: Stephen Waszena Conshohocken PA
Son: Kenneth Waszena Upper Frederick PA
Also survived by 4 Grandchildren Diane Waszena (&Tim) Gunning, Bradley, Paul & Shaun Waszena.
And 2 Great Grandchildren Gabriella and Ryan Gunning, and many nieces & nephews.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Thomas Waszena, a granddaughter Stephanie Waszena and 2 sisters Helen Pinkos and Gloria Waszena.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May11, 2017 at 10:30 AM from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, PA 19428
Fr. J. Thomas Heron will be officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
