Obituary of George T. Pilecki, Sr.

George T. "Corky" Pilecki, Sr., 88, of Whitehaven, PA passed away on Saturday May 6, 2017. He was born in Conshohocken, PA on May 24, 1928. George has lived in Whitehaven, Pa since 1978, formerly of King of Prussia, Pa and Conshohocken, PA. He graduated from Conshohocken High School and Girard Institute of Philadelphia, PA. He was the owner and operator of Getty Gas Station in Conshohocken, PA and then worked with the Pennsylvania Turn Pike. He was a former Kidder Twp. Supervisor and former Treasurer of Pocono Mountain Lake Association. Son of the Late Constantine & Sophie ( Goncharuk ) Pilecki. Survivors include his Wife: Nancy (Markoski) Pilecki Whitehaven PA Son: George T. Pilecki, Jr Broward Co. FL Son: Randell E. (& Laura) Pilecki, Sr. Whitehaven PA Son: Sean Pilecki Whitehaven PA Daughter: Gale Pilecki Whitehaven PA Daughter: Victoria (& Ryan) Meyn Gilbert AZ Sister: Connie Coscia Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 9 siblings: Alexander, Manya "Mary", Anna, Vladmia, Nadia, Vera, Luba, Paul & Tanya. His Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church, 550 Hurst Street, Bridgeport, PA 19405. Msgr. Ronald Popivchak will be officiating. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Church. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church Cemetery King of Prussia, PA.
