Jean was born in West Conshohocken. Graduated fron Conshohocken High School, class of 1952 She traveled the United States while her husband, Matthew J. O'Connor, Jr. HMC, USN served in the US Navy especially Florida, Connecticut, New York, and Philadelphia. Jean summered in Ocean City, NJ
