Obituary of Barbara P. Muglia

Barbara Muglia, age 88, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

She was born in Brighton, England on June 8, 1936, the daughter of the late William and Enid (Smith) Woolhead.

Barbara has been living in East Norriton since 1989, formerly of Audubon, PA.  She was a parishioner of Visitation BVM Church.  She had a long career as a Travel Agent with American Express and as the Owner/Operator of Travel Assured.  She was an avid traveller, great mom and brilliant businesswoman.   

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rusty Muglia of East Norriton; two daughters, Susan Muglia of Jupiter, FL and Amy (& Grant) Heckler of Audubon, PA; and four grandsons, Nick, Michael, Frankie and Steven Harper.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Edward Morgan Heckler.  

Her Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Lower Church at Visitation B.V.M. RC Church, 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown, PA 19403.  Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church. 

Committal will be held privately at a later date in Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Valley Forge, PA.
