Obituary of Edna C. Traub

Edna C. Traub, age 83 of Harleysville, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Grandview Hospital of Sellersville. Wife of John W. Traub, Jr. Born in Conshohocken, PA on March 29, 1929, daughter of the late Florence (Cressman) and George P. Custer. Edna has lived in Harleysville, Pa for the last 4 1/2 years, formerly of King of Prussia, Pa where she had lived for over 60 years and Conshohocken, Pa where she was born and raised. She graduated from Conshohocken High School. Edna was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Banner & Radiant Chapter # 96. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she also enjoyed playing golf and bridge. In addition to her husband, Edna is survived by her sons, David (Elizabeth) Traub of Portland, OR, and Scott (Nancy) Traub of Newark, DR; brothers. Ronald Custer of Eagleville, and Alan Custer; grandchildren, Laura (Ross), and Daniel, Elliot, Emily, Ethan, Eric, and Emerson. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the Moore, & Snear Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Clergy: The Rev. Richard A. Olson, II officiating. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Valley Forge Gardens, King of Prussia.
