Obituary of Karen Anne Kocher

Karen Anne Kocher, age 68 of Collegeville, PA passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024.

She was born on May 23, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA to Eleanore (Yung) Cochran and the late James Cochran.

Karen married Tom Kocher and had 2 children, Thomas Bryan Kocher and Laura Elizabeth Kocher. 

Karen and Tom lived and raised their kids in Royersford, PA in a Victorian house she loved. She worked at PMMC for 20 years. Prior to retirement, for 10 years, she ran the craft fair for the hospital filling the hospital with vendors from all around. She also organized nurse’s week events every year.

She enjoyed decorating the house for holidays and entertaining around the holidays.

During the summer, she loved to spend time in Ocean City, NJ.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas G. Kocher; son, Thomas Bryan Kocher (Valerie Weisser); daughter, Laura E. Kocher (Brian Warner); sister, Lisa (Jim) Neilan; and two brothers, Jim (Amy) Cochran and Michael Cochran (Lisa Van Natta). She is also survived by five grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
 

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00am from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday morning, October 25, from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Funeral Home.
