Obituary of Nicole Mary Giacche

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nicole Mary Giacche of Collegeville, PA on January 11, 2024.  Nicole was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Nicole, born on March 14, 1978, embraced life with an unwavering faith and a heart full of love. After a courageous fight with cancer, she departed from this world to join her father, Nicholas Giacche, in heaven.

Nicole's devotion to her Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her unwavering commitment to God and the church was evident in every aspect of her being. Nicole found solace, strength, and purpose in her faith, and her love for God was a guiding light throughout her journey.  She was a parishioner at St. Eleanor’s and worked at Our Lady of Assumption.

Nicole has left a void for the many family members she is survived by.  Nicole was an amazing daughter to her loving mother, Erma DeCarlo.  Nicole also leaves behind her brother, Nicholas E. Giacche, his wife Lori and their daughter Alexa.  She is also survived by her brother, John Giacche, and his children, Logan and McKenna.  There are also many in her extended family that shared a deep love for Nicole.  Her family was the nucleus of her existence, and the bonds she shared with each member were a source of immeasurable joy.

Nicole was a proud graduate of Cabrini College where she earned two degrees, was a member of Sigma Beta Delta and the National Honor Society of Business, Management and Administration.  She would later return to education and earn her Master of Business Administration degree from DeSales University.

Nicole developed a love for travel which took her to various corners of the world, including Australia, Italy, and Hawaii.  Nicole dedicated much of her time to volunteering with the church. She selflessly extended her helping hand to clean for the sick and provided transportation for those in need, exemplifying the true spirit of compassion and charity.

While Nicole's commitment to serving God and others was commendable, her heart truly radiated when she spent time with her nieces and nephew. The twinkle in her eyes and the genuine joy she found in their company reflected the deep love she held for her family.

Nicole showed her greatest courage during her battle with cancer.  She fought to the very end and embraced every minute she had.  Nicole's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her. May she find eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Heavenly Father and with being reunited with her beloved dad, Nicholas Giacche.
