Obituary of A. Robert Cruz

Dr. Alexander Robert Cruz, age 48, of Ambler, PA passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 after a brief illness.

He was born in Norristown, PA on June 23, 1974, the son of Mary Louise (Kowalski) Cruz and the late Alexander C. Cruz.  

Dr. Cruz was a lifelong resident of Upper Dublin and parishioner of St. Alphonsus RC Church.  He was a graduate of Temple University's School of Dentistry and practiced as a General Dentist.  He loved writing and playing music.  He earned his black belt in karate and enjoyed cooking.  Rob especially loved traveling and spending time with his daughter.  

Dr. Cruz is survived by his wife, Sylvia M. Cruz (nee Cemini); daughter, Isabella Cruz; and mother, Mary Louise Cruz of Ambler; sister, Kristina Cruz and niece, Addison Obst of Reisterstown, MD; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM from St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen, PA 19002.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday evening, February 7 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401 and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
