Obituary of Kaushik Patel

Kaushik Patel, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 12, 2022, while on a business trip in Lexington, Kentucky.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, he was the eldest of three sons born to Kusum Patel and the late Hasmukh Patel. He grew up in Vancouver with his brothers, playing soccer and basketball throughout his childhood. He was an avid fan of sports, always cheering on the Vancouver Canucks and the Seattle Seahawks.

He was an amazing husband, dog Dad, brother, son, brother-in-law, son-in-law and uncle. He lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment and experience with the people he loved. He did anything, everything, anywhere, with a positive attitude and an infectious smile on his face. No matter who he was with, or where he was, he epitomized the phrase “Carpe Diem.”

He was a devoted husband, who loved to travel and to explore the globe with his wife. “Koko” enjoyed spoiling his niece and nephews with candy, spectacular gifts and anything else he could think of to see their faces shine. And JoJo - they were the perfect pair to describe man’s best friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kavita; mother, Kusum; two brothers Tarun (wife Priya) and Shavin (wife Neha); as well as four nephews (Dylan, Gavin, Gavin, Nyan), niece (Gia), dog JoJo, and dog nephew Rambo.

He will be greatly missed and will forever have a place in our hearts.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 3PM with cremation to follow.
